The word initiation comes from the Latin word "beginning". A real initiation is a beginning, moving into a new life. Initiation (also called attunement, empowerment or shaktipat) means a permanent transformation of our subtle energy bodies. 
Initiations were used in all traditions and in all eras throughout time to lift a receiver onto a higher level of consciousness in short time. But in old traditions, this was only granted to a small minority. It is a completely new concept, especially for us in the Western World, to be rewarded with this elevated consciousness and the accompanying abilities without having to work long and hard for them. However this is the modern way for people today who wish to develop themselves further. Life has become much more complex and demanding than it used to be and time itself has become short. Today the most useful and practical aids and tools are in demand, to offer individuals the most use possible in the shortest time. This is exactly what seminar participants are offered: to have access to simple, practical tools that bring about more quality in life, happiness and aids for all the different situations encountered in life. |
